Since it contracted with an efficiency company to install power saving investments in 2009, Morgantown has saved over half a million dollars on its electric bills and other costs. And they paid the company’s fees, and they are still $36,000 ahead of the company’s contracted guaranteed savings.
Energy efficiency isn’t very hard, you just have to be willing to make the changes. It is great to see that Morgantown is providing the energy leadership in our state.
